  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Yellow or white onion, chopped
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil
  • 4 TBSP chicken broth
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 TBSP gluten free soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 2 Tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 TBSP fresh ginger, minced
  • Squeeze of lemon
  • 1 8oz can water chestnuts (optional)
  • Sesame seeds to garnish
  1. Heat coconut oil in a large pan or wok on medium-high heat.
  2. Add ginger, garlic, and onion and cook till onions begin to brown
  3. Add chicken, cabbage, and half the chicken broth
  4. Reduce heat slightly and cover, 1-2 minutes
  5. Add water chestnuts (optional), soy sauce, and remaining chicken broth
  6. Stir fry till remaining liquid is gone
  7. Remove from heat and add a squeeze of lemon
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds
